El International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) (Instituto Internacional de Ciencias de la Vida) es una institución con presencia mundial, sin fines de lucro, creada en 1978 con el objeto de promover la comprensión de temas científicos en materia de nutrición, inocuidad de los alimentos, toxicología, evaluación del riesgo y seguridad ambiental. ILSI reúne a científicos provenientes del ámbito académico, el gobierno, la industria y el sector público a fin de resolver los problemas que tienen grandes implicancias para el bienestar del público en general. ILSI recibe apoyo financiero de la industria, del gobierno y de fundaciones.
